East Athens Fireworks Extravaganza - July 3

Hey Murder Babes! I'm sorry for the short notice on this Outreach event. I forgot that you all aren't able to see the full forum yet.

Below is our first outreach opportunity for Q3 and it should be a fun one complete with fireworks and boutfits!

Community Connection is hosting a Fireworks Extravaganza on July 3 from 6:00-10:00 p.m at East Athens Community Park (200 Trail Creek Street
Athens, GA 30605).

Some of us will be on-skates for this helping to lead people to the fireworks area. Murder Babies won't be able to be on skates but there are plenty of other volunteer positions available. You can check them out at this link:

If you filled out the form, you should have gotten an email with this information but I'm posting it here for anyone who didn't do the form or has just decided they want to attend the coolest outreach opportunity of the month:


ARRIVAL
Your team is being asked to arrive promptly at 6:00 pm to meet your team leader and receive a short orientation/training.

VOLUNTEER PARKING
All of the parking at Trail Creek Park is being reserved for volunteers; so, when you arrive, please pull into the parking area at the very top of the hill, which will be marked “Volunteer Parking”. If you are volunteering with a friend or in a group, we encourage you to carpool, as there is limited parking at the event. Upon your arrival, you’ll be given a parking pass to get in and out of the upper parking deck.

VOLUNTEER CHECK-IN
Volunteer check-in will be at the Volunteer Check-In tent at main entrance to the Trail Creek Park, directly adjacent to the parking lot within which you’ll be parking.

DAY-OF VOLUNTEER LOGISTICS
Please bring your cell phone to the event, as this will be your main point of contact with your volunteer leader. Everyone will be done at 9:00 pm and will be able to watch the fireworks show.
