Dock Diving Pool Party - August 1

Lucky Dog Agility is having their Grand Opening in Winterville on August 1 and we'll be there volunteering from 10:00am-1:00pm. Proceeds from this day benefit Athens Canine Rescue (our July 25 bout charity).

They will give us tasks when we get there but so far, they really want us to officiate the doggy games. We may also help with the raffle (probably selling tickets) and directing people around. Here's a schedule of the day's events. It looks pretty cool and you'll get to watch dogs doing neat things!

8am Registration starts
8-10 Barn Hunt Run Throughs
10-11 Rally Run Throughs
8-12 Agility course open

Dock Events:
8-9 Practice swim period
9-10:30 Ramp Retrieve and Retrieve Relay
10:30-11:30 Practice swim
11:30-12:30 Distance jumping

11:00-12:30 Cookout and Potluck Lunch

This is Saturday! Lucky Dog and Athens Canine Rescue are super excited to have us participating!

This Saturday please plan to be there from 10-1 and try to carpool if you can because parking is limited.

No skates for this event because it will be mostly grass or gravel. Wear a league shirt, jersey or church boutfit.

I just went out to Lucky Dog to drop off a silent auction donation. It's pretty far out in the country and parking looks very limited. Please carpool if you can and give yourself plenty of time to get there. Google Maps will take you right to the place.

My house is on the way there and I have two more spots in my car. If you want to ride with me, plan to get to my house by 9:30. We'll leave at 9:40ish.
